The Kansas Department of Transportation plans on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, to begin a culvert repair project on Interstate 35 in Osage County. The culvert is located north of the south interchange with state Highway 31.

Project activity includes replacing both wings on the north end of the culvert. I-35 southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane until the project is completed in approximately one month.

KDOT awarded the $198,264 construction contract to Pfefferkorn and Drury Construction, Olathe, Kan. Drivers are reminded to reduce speed in the work zone. For more information, contact Troy Howard at 785-433-6116, or Priscilla Petersen, 620-902-6433.
