Dale Lee Wallace, 42, Melvern: May 15, 1978 – Oct. 14, 2020

MELVERN, Kan. – Dale Lee Wallace, 42, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at his home in Melvern, Kan. He was born May 15, 1978, in Ottawa, Kan., the son of Raymond Lee and Lisa (Siege) Wallace . He graduated from Marais des Cygnes Valley High School in 1996.

Dale had lived most of his life in Melvern, but had lived for 10 years in Newton, Kan.

Dale had worked as a roofer most of his life. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing guitar, and loved spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the True Grace Church, in Melvern.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Ray Wallace, and a son, Brody Ray Wallace.

Dale is survived by his two daughters, Audrie Lee Wallace and Kaetlyn Louise Wallace, and their mother, Amber Thompson, of Hesston, Kan.; son, Tracer Ray Wallace, and daughter, Teigh Olson, and their mother, Paige Schrader, of Waverly, Kan.; daughter, Evelyn Leighlani Guilfoyle, and her mother, Stephanie Guilfoyle; his mother, Lisa Hayes, Melvern; brother, Ray Wallace, Austin, Texas; and three sisters, Jane (Gary) Kitt, Melvern, Suzan Ball, Richmond, Kan., and Dee Wallace, Overbrook, Kan.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Feltner Funeral Home, Lyndon, Kan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
