Advance, mail-in voting underway in Osage County

Advance and mail-in voting is underway in Osage County for the Nov. 3, 2020, general election. The Osage County Clerk Office has taken steps to make it easier for voters to cast their ballots, including staying open late three nights, open on the Saturday before the election for voting, and installing a drop box at the courthouse for drop off of advance ballots.

The office had begun to send out ballots requested to be mailed on Oct. 14, 2020, and those ballots can be mailed back or dropped off in person at the county clerk’s office at the Osage County Courthouse in Lyndon, in the drop box located in the courthouse parking lot, or at their regular polling place on election day, Nov. 3.

In addition, advance voters can vote in the county clerk’s office during normal business hours until 12 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2.

The clerk’s office will also be open until 7 p.m. for voting on Oct. 20, Oct. 22, Oct. 28, and it will be open 9 am.-2 p.m. on Oct. 31.
