OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Mary Jean Kitt, 67, departed this life on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, at the Osage Nursing Center, Osage City, Kan. She was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Ottawa, Kan., the daughter of James Matthew and Mary Jane (Toumberlin) LeValley.

She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1971.

Mary was a homemaker for most of her life, raising her two children.

Mary was married to Kerry Kitt for more than 30 years. They later divorced. To this union they shared two children, Stephanie and Darin Kitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Jane (Toumberlin) LeValley and James Matthew LeValley; and two brothers, Jimmy and Victor LeValley.

Mary is survived by her two children, Stephanie Kitt, Burlington, Kan., and Darin Kitt, Garnett, Kan.; brother, Charles LeValley, Olathe, Kan.; sister, Bonnie LeValley, Ottawa, Kan.; and stepmother, Edith LeValley, Ottawa.
