Holiday response: Operation Christmas for Osage County kids

Emergency responders in Osage County are partnering up to collect new and unwrapped toys for Osage County children in need. Toy collection began last weekend and will continue until Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020. Toys collected will be donated to Osage County Help House for distribution.

Participating businesses, agencies and toy drop off locations across Osage County include:

  • Carbondale: Carbondale Police Department and Carbondale Fire Station.
  • Osage City: Osage City Police Department, Osage City Fire Station, Osage Hardware, McCoy’s Radio Shack.
  • Melvern: Melvern Police Department, Melvern Fire Station.
  • Overbrook: Overbrook Police Department, Overbrook Fire Station, Overbrook Dollar General Store.
  • Lyndon: Osage County Sheriff’s Office, Lyndon Police Department, Lyndon Fire Station, Anne’s Diner.
  • Burlingame: Burlingame Police Department, Burlingame Fire Station, Aunt B’s.
  • Quenemo: Quenemo City Hall.
  • Scranton: Scranton Police Department, Scranton Fire Station, Four Corners Restaurant.
  • Vassar: Estore Sales & Auction Service.
