Sheriff seeks information about domestic violence incident at Burlingame

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information about a domestic violence incident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Burlingame, Kan.

The sheriff’s office reported that a 911 call came in at 3:55 p.m. Dec. 16, 2020, about a domestic violence incident involving a weapon in the 200 block of West Seward Avenue, in Burlingame. Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect had fled from the location and was unable to be located. Officers found a victim with minor injuries, but the victim refused medical attention.

The sheriff’s office asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Osage County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit at 785-828-3121, or to remain anonymous contact Osage County Crime Stoppers at 877-OSCRIME. The incident remains under investigation.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Burlingame Police Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol.
