Kenneth Claude Graybeal, 63, Lyndon: Sept. 18, 1957 – Feb. 12, 2021

LYNDON, Kan. – Kenneth Claude Graybeal, 63, of Lyndon, Kan., died Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, at his home. He was born Sept. 18, 1957, in Topeka, Kan., the son of June and Bertha (Baysinger) Graybeal. He graduated from Lyndon High School in 1976.

Kenneth grew up and worked on a dairy farm. He also worked as a construction worker and a truck driver for Frito-Lay and KEIM over the years.

He loved to talk and tell stories. You could often find him running around at auctions. He used to say that he was doing what he did best, nothing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Bertha Graybeal; and a sister, Vera Middleton.

He is survived by three sons, Scott Graybeal and wife, Wanda, Osage City, Kan., Clint Graybeal and wife, Jessica, Osage City, and Calvin Graybeal, Lyndon; a daughter, Pamela Graybeal, Bulls Gap, Tenn.; a sister, Rita Husky and husband, Kenny, Hope, Texas; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame, Kan. Friends wanting to participate virtually may do so through the live stream on Lamb-Roberts-Price Facebook page. The Graybeal family will greet friends for a visitation 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 503 S. Topeka Ave., Burlingame.
