Bonnie Blossom Gardner, 87, Osage City: Aug. 7, 1925-Aug. 5, 2013

OSAGE CITY-Bonnie Blossom Gardner, 87, passed away on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Osage Nursing Center, Osage City. She was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Lyon County, Kan., the daughter of Victor and Gladys Blossom White.

Bonnie lived in Lyndon and Osage City for many years. She had worked for Hallmark in Osage City on the assembly line, and she was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. She was a member of the Osage City Baptist Temple.

On Oct. 13, 1943, Bonnie was married to Alfred Gardner in Council Grove. Al preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 2009.

Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Waters, of Allen, and Donna Bradford, Lyndon; three sons, Dennis Gardner, Vassar, Stan Gardner, Lyndon, and Jeff Gardner, Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Edna Fowler, Haven, and Joyce Gossett, Pratt; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Private family memorial services will be held at the Vassar Cemetery. Feltner Funeral Home, Lyndon, is in charge of arrangements.
