Perfect fair weather predicted

After two days of on and off rain showers, the Overbrook Osage County Fair is expected to be mostly dry Friday evening and Saturday. While the National Weather Service is predicting slight chances of Friday evening, the forecast for Saturday is partly sunny with a high near 83 – perfect weather for carnival rides, the fair parade, and the demolition derby. Friday events began this morning with the sheep show; at 2 p.m. are the bucket calf, dairy and goat shows. The beef show starts at 7 p.m., along with circle track races. See the fair schedule here.
