Karon K. Baker, 75, Osage City: May 5, 1946 – Sept. 15, 2021

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Karon K. (Beam) Baker, 75, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at Osage Nursing Center, Osage City, Kan. She was born May 5, 1946, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Ward and Ann Mary (Hackel) Beam.

Karon graduated from Mayetta High School, Mayetta, Kan., in 1964, and had lived most of her life in the Burlingame, Kan., community. She was a homemaker most of her life.

Karon was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Ann; three brothers, Don Beam, Ward Beam and Steve Beam; and her sister, Vickie (Coffman) Beam.

Karon is survived by her four sons, Bud (Karen) Baker of Mountain Home, Ark., Rodney (Karen) Baker, Lowell, Ark., Jimmy (Ami) Baker, Osage City, and Travis (Leona) Baker, Siloam Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Karon was cremated and a private family ceremony will take place at the Richland Cemetery in Richland, Kan. Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon is assisting the family. See feltnerfuneralhome.com.
