MELVERN, Kan. – Charlotte LaRue Criqui, 87, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at Vintage Park, Osage City, Kan. She was born Jan. 19, 1934, near Melvern, Kan., the daughter of Warren and Thelma Evertson.

Charlotte had lived most of her near the Melvern community. Charlotte had been a homemaker, and she was a member of the Melvern United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Oren James Criqui, in 1953, in Huntsville, Ark. To this union three children were born, Terry, Charlene and Steve.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Oren, on Oct. 14, 1998; her parents, Warren and Thelma; and her brother, Eddie Evertson.

Charlotte is survived by her three children, Terry Criqui, Charlene Criqui and Steve Criqui, all of Melvern; and four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. until service time. Private interment will be Wednesday.
