Donna Lee Totman, 87, Osage City: May 7, 1934 – Jan. 21, 2022

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Donna Lee Totman, 87, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka, Kan. She was born May 7, 1934, in Arcadia, Kan., the daughter of Ralph and Bessie Brown Bean.

Donna grew up in Arcadia, and she had lived in Osage City, Kan., since 1954.

Donna had worked for Hallmark Cards as a quality inspector for more than 20 years. She also worked at Park Pharmacy, sold Stanley Products, and did babysitting for many kids in Osage City. She had been a member of the Flint Hills Baptist Church, Osage City, where she was involved in the ladies missionary group and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

On March 15, 1953, Donna was united in marriage to Earl Wayne Totman, in Arcadia. They were married for nearly 57 years.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, Feb. 17, 2010; her daughter, Susie Peimann, Jan. 14, 2022; a grandson, Jason Burke; her parents, Ralph and Bessie; three brothers, Winifred, Milo and Leo Bean; and two sisters, Florence Linn and Leona Mayfield.

Donna is survived by her four sons, Ed (Ciss) Totman, Osage City, Rick (Brenda) Totman, Wakarusa, Kan., Rodney (Carolyn) Totman, Vassar, Kan., and Randy Totman, Osage City; her daughter, Debi Totman, Osage City; and 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Countryside Baptist Church, Osage City. Burial will be in the Barclay Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon, Kan.
