Osage City Chamber of Commerce names new executive director

082213-josie-bosseJosie Bosse, of Osage City, has been named as the executive director of Osage City Chamber of Commerce.

Bosse is originally from Arkansas City, but recently moved to Osage City from Fremont, Neb., where she was an agriculture and commercial lender. 

While living in Fremont, Bosse was involved in her community in numerous ways, including the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce, agriculture and natural resources council member, Fremont Area Young Professionals, in which she served as a board member and on the finance/retention and professional development committees, Fremont 4-H Fair Board member, Fremont 4-H Foundation treasurer, Christensen Field Improvement Task Force secretary/treasurer, and coordinator of Fremont Bull Riding Classic. She is also a 2013 Leadership Fremont graduate.

Bosse recently moved to Osage City with her husband Clint Bosse and two daughters, Jaiton and Kaiden.

Her hobbies include hunting and shooting, crafts, riding horses, rodeo and baking cakes.

“We are excited to call Kansas our home again,” Bosse said.

Attending Tuesday’s meeting of the Osage City Chamber of Commerce, where she was introduced to the membership, Bosse said she is eager to serve as executive director of the Osage City Chamber of Commerce and become involved in the Osage City community.
