Drug task force arrests two after search at Osage City residence

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has reported a local drug task force made two arrests Tuesday after a search warrant was served at a residence in Osage City.

A sheriff’s office press release said the Osage City Police Department and the sheriff’s office conducted a narcotics search warrant Aug. 9, 2022, at 714 Market St., Osage City, resulting in the arrest of Tanny L. Kendall, 62, and Shane A. Kendall, 46, both of Osage City.

Tanny Kendall was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shane Kendall was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff’s office reported it had teamed up with OCPD to create a joint task force to help eradicate the use and sale of narcotics in Osage County.
