Osage City Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus, Sept. 11, 2022, at Jones Park, in Osage City, Kan., with shows at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
C&M Circus is an authentic one-ring, big top circus and features a new 2022 performance with big cats presented by Trey Key, aerialist extraordinaire Simone on the trapeze, 10th generation Loyal Bareback Horse Riders, the Perez Daredevil Duo on the tight rope and Wheel of Destiny, and Circus Clown Leo Acton.
Circus day schedule
9:30 a.m. – Tent raising and tour
1 p.m. – Midway opens: Pony rides, moon bounce, giant slide, face painting, concession stand and box office open.
2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – Circus performance
Each show lasts about 90 minutes. Box offices opens one hour before showtime.
Advance tickets are $12 for adults, and $7 for children 2-12 years, and seniors 65 or older; day of circus prices are $15 and $8. Advanced ticket purchases are encouraged, as a larger portion of the ticket sales goes to the host organization.
Advance tickets can be purchased at Osage City Hall, Osage City Public Library, First National Bank of Kansas, Osage Hardware, Bank of Osage City, Landmark National Bank, and RadioShack.
