LAWRENCE, Kan. – Andrew Ryan Larkin, 45, passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at his home near Lawrence, Kan. He was born Feb. 14, 1977, in Hill City, Kan., the son of Patrick and Mindy (Hardman) Larkin.

Ryan and his family moved to Lyndon, Kan., when he was in second grade, and he remained there through high school. Ryan graduated from Lyndon High School in 1995, and then earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. He later attended Washburn University. He moved to California for a few years before returning to this area. He had been living in Lawrence for the last several years.

Ryan worked as a route driver for Gully Transportation.

Ryan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mindy and Brad Loveless, of Lyndon; his father, Pat Larkin, San Clemente, Calif.; two brothers, Jake (Emmie) Loveless, Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Kahle (Bridget) Loveless, Topeka, Kan.; and several nephews and a niece.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Lyndon United Methodist Church, 126 W. Eighth St., Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Inurnment will be at Hill City, Kan., at a later date.
