Letter to the Editor: Preventing cancer at the State Fair

Dear Editor,

It is State Fair time again. I’ll be heading there for the great attractions, the food and friends, but also top on my list is a visit to the Hutchinson Clinic and the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s “Cancer Education Booth.”

There you can walk up and get the latest information on cancer detection and prevention from a health care professional – all for free. Men might want to talk about the risks and benefits of getting a PSA, or prostate cancer screening. You can discuss the best options for you.

So come on by the Cancer Education Booth, in the Sunflower Building, just around the corner from my booth. Stop in, say hello and let’s all work to prevent cancer. The information you receive could save your life or that of a loved one. And that is the best deal at the Fair.

U.S. Senator Pat Roberts
