Rebecca ‘Becky’ Yvonne Criqui, 50, Lebo: May 22, 1972 – May 3, 2023

LEBO, Kan. – Rebecca Yvonne Criqui, 50, of Lebo, Kan., passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Coffey County Hospital, Burlington, Kan. She was born May 22, 1972, in Merriam, Kan., the daughter of Perry and Michaeline Vasquez Criqui.

Becky attended Lebo High School and graduated with the class of 1990.

Becky began working in the cafeteria at IBP while she was a senior in high school. She later took a position in the cafeteria at Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Station. Becky had previously worked several years as a cashier at BETO. She earned her CAN, which gave her the opportunity to later work at the Osage City Nursing Center, Osage City, Kan., and at Life Care Center, Burlington.

Becky had many interests throughout her life, which included a love of flowers, her cats and her Chihuahuas. She also loved to collect dolls. Becky was a member of the Emporia First Church of the Nazarene.

She will live on in the hearts and memories of her mother, Michaeline Criqui, Lebo; two brothers, Terry Clarence Criqui, Emporia, Kan., and Arthur Wayne Criqui, Lebo; and numerous extended family and a community of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Criqui, April 8, 2015.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home, Lebo. Burial will follow services at Melvern Cemetery.
