The Kansas Highway Patrol has announced that Technical Trooper Jeremy T. Littrell has been promoted to lieutenant and will serve Troop B, Zone D in northeast Kansas.

Littrell attended the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy and graduated with Class 38 in 2002. His initial duty station was Coffey County in Troop H. In 2010, Littrell transferred to Troop N as a member of the Patrol’s Domestic Highway Enforcement Team. In 2017, he transferred to Troop I, where he served until his recent promotion as a safety auditor in Osage City, Kan., for the Patrol’s Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP).
Littrell is a native of McPherson, Kan., and graduated from McPherson High School. He attended Washburn University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Over the course of his career with KHP, Littrell has been recognized for his hard work as a Kansas state trooper, receiving largest seizure awards in 2010 and 2013.
