Commodities pickup next Tuesday at senior center

Submitted by Osage County Senior Center Director Byron Jordan

The September senior commodity box distribution is set for Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Osage County Senior Center, 604 Market St., Osage City. No other commodities are distributed through the senior center. Harvesters free food distribution in Osage City is coordinated with ECKAN and is done on the third Thursday of each month. It is currently being conducted at the fairgrounds pavilion building area.

There are plenty of seats left on the bus trip to the historical sites in Chanute on Sept. 26. A $10 donation is requested to cover transit and entry fees and each rider will be responsible for their own lunch costs. Call or stop by the center for more details.
