Osage County Sheriff’s report: At 10:25 p.m. Aug. 12, 2023, an Osage County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at 173rd Street and U.S. Highway 75 for a traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, Kenneth M. Buckingham, 62, of Topeka, Kan., was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, traffic contraband into a correctional facility, driving while license is suspended or revoked, and no proof of liability insurance.
