Beverly Jean Welsch, 84, Osage City: April 8, 1939 – Feb. 8, 2024

OSAGE CITY, Kan. – Beverly J. Welsch, 84, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Peterson Assisted Living, Osage City, Kan. Beverly Jean Soendker was born April 8, 1939, in Oskaloosa, Kan., the daughter of Henry and Minnie (Weller) Soendker.

Beverly graduated from Lyndon High School, Lyndon, Kan., in 1957.

Beverly was joined in marriage to Gene Croucher in 1959, until his death in 1966. She later married Darrell Welsch, Jan. 10, 1975, in Osage City. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Beverly had worked at Hallmark and Osage Products, and later worked as a kitchen aide at Peterson Nursing Home, Osage City.

She loved flowers, camping, and going fishing and to the casino.

Beverly will be forever remembered by her two daughters, Lori L. Dishman and Debra K. Keller, both of Osage City; two brothers, Clarence Soendker, Emporia, Kan., and Donald (Cathy) Soendker, Topeka; and three grandsons, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Richard and Charles Soendker.

Funeral service was Feb. 14, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, Osage City.
