April 6 ‘Run for History’ to raise funds for Franklin County Historical Society

OTTAWA, Kan. – Runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels are invited to trace the historic paths of railroads through Ottawa during the second annual Run for History, a fun run walk event on April 6, 2024.

The 5K starts at the Old Depot Museum at 9 a.m. and encompasses parts of both the Prairie Spirit Trail and the Flint Hills Trail, which were once the AT&SF and Missouri Pacific railroad lines. Registration is $25. All proceeds benefit the Franklin County Historical Society.
