June 4, 2024

  • Delwin Dwain Watkins, 58, Pomona, distribute opiate, opium, narcotic, certain stimulant, 3.5 to less than 100 grams, possession of marijuana, use or possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body, no drug tax stamp for marijuana or controlled substance, driving while license cancelled, suspended or revoked, vehicle liability insurance coverage required, registration, OSSO.
  • Jesus Efren Lerma Puentes, 33, Wichita, Osage County warrant, OSSO.

June 5, 2024

  • Charles Dean Richmond, 57, Osage City, driving under the influence, $1,000 cash bond, OSSO.

June 6, 2024

  • Mandy Lynn Burgess, 44, Vassar, unsafe turning or stopping, failure to give proper signal, operate vehicle without registration or with expired tag, flee or attempt to elude law enforcement officer by engaging in reckless driving, interference with law enforcement officer, obstruct, resist or oppose felony warrant service or execution, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, driving on left in no-passing zone, maximum speed limits, failure to yield at stop or yield sign, driving on right side of roadway required, OSSO.
  • Diana Gayle Fritchie, 48, Osage City, domestic battery, unknown circumstance, $2,500 own recognizance, OPD.

  • Juan David Jasso-Vargas, 20, Osage City, aggravated battery, driving under the influence causing bodily harm or disfigurement, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, $5,000 surety bond, OSSO.
  • Randall Rex Schubert, 61, Osage City, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, $1,000 surety bond, OSSO.

June 9, 2024

  • Andrew Davis-Williamson, 38, Springfield, Mo., driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, $1,200 surety bond, KHP.
  • William James Woodcock, 51, Topeka, distribute opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant less than 3.5 grams, possession of marijuana, distribute or possess with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia for illegal use, maximum speed limit, BPD.

Sheriff’s reports:

At 9:50 p.m. June 3, 2024, an Osage County Sheriff’s K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop at 213th Street and South Michigan Road for a traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail on suspicion of the following charges:

  • Delwin D. Watkins, 58, Pomona, Kan., distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp, driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance, and illegal registration.
  • Marvin J. McWhorter Jr., 64, Quenemo, Kan., possession of methamphetamine.

At 4:40 p.m. June 10, 2024, an Osage County Sheriff’s K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop at milepost 140 on U.S. Highway 75 for a traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, James R. Wright, 59, of Topeka, Kan., was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended, illegal registration, and no insurance.
