Sheriff report:

At 10:45 a.m. July 5, 2024, Osage County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of northwest Maple and northwest Roberts streets in Melvern for a domestic disturbance. During a subsequent follow-up on the incident, a male subject was contacted in the 200 block of northwest Main Street. Illegal narcotics were in his possession. Dustin R. Davis, 33, of Emporia, Kan., was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail on suspicion of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an arrest warrant.
