The Annual Overbrook Rural High School All-School Reunion reconnects old friends, lets them stroll down memory lane, and celebrates staff and students’ shared history. This year, the event will be 2-4 p.m. Friday, May 23, at the Overbrook Public Library, 317 Maple St., Overbrook, Kan.
During the annual reunion, members of the Overbrook Historical Society and Museum will have a special display. All ORHS students and faculty are encouraged to bring Overbrook and ORHS memorabilia to be scanned and preserved for future exhibits.
Everyone is invited, but anyone planning to attend is asked to register by contacting Mary Ann (Vanderslice) Leslie at 214-773-5246 or mavleslie48@yahoo.com by Friday, May 16. Include name, contact info, and the number of guests attending. Registration is $5 per person, payable at the event.
The first class to graduate from Overbrook Rural High School was in 1901, and the last class to graduate was in 1969. Read more about the history of Overbrook Rural High School here: http://www.osagecountyonline.com/archives/15683.
