Frontier Extension District schedules child care provider training at Ottawa

The Frontier Extension District is sponsoring a two-hour Kansas Department of Health and Environment approved training for child care providers, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the Franklin County Annex meeting room (commission chambers), 1418 S. Main St., Ottawa.

Some children are more difficult to work with than others. The training session, “Building Relationships with Children and Youth Who Challenge Us”, will help those who care for young children and youth take an honest look at children and their feelings about them. The session will also help professionals learn what they can do to build positive relationships with all children – even the ones who challenge them.

To register, call the Frontier Extension District at the Ottawa office at 785-229-3520 or the Lyndon office at 785-828-4438, or email [email protected]. Registration fee is $5.
