The Osage City Chamber of Commerce is finalizing plans for this year’s family friendly fall festival, Oct. 11, 2025, which promises to be an entertaining time for all ages. Activities include a cornhole tournament, keg roll, stein games, pie eating contest, pumpkins for painting, face painting, scarecrow making, obstacle course, craft show, businesses open for shopping, food and snack trucks, and a beer garden. The event will be located around the area of the Santa Fe Park in downtown Osage City.
OCFD No. 2 to host trick or treat parade on Market Street
Osage County Fire District No. 2 will host a trick or treat parade Thursday, Oct. 31. The Halloween parade will be downtown on Market Street, with line up at 4 p.m. at Santa Fe Park. Trick or treating the merchants begins at 4:15 p.m. The parade route will add one more block this year. The participants will walk east on Market to Seventh Street, cross and walk west on Market to Fourth, cross and walk back to Santa Fe Park. Everyone is welcome. Parents are urged to walk with children.
Successful citywide garage sale weekend
Mother Nature provided a perfect weekend for garage sale enthusiasts, Sept. 19-20. There were many garage sales listed on the Chamber of Commerce map. Osage City businesses had their ads also listed on the map. The proceeds from the ads and garage sale listings will go towards the Chamber of Commerce scholarship, awarded to an Osage City High School graduate who is furthering their education.
2025 Christmas on Market, Saturday, Nov. 22
Planning is progressing for the annual Christmas on Market celebration set for Saturday, Nov. 22. Everyone is encouraged to mark the date on their calendar and plan to shop local that weekend. Many of our hometown businesses will be offering great opportunities for holiday gifts.
Chamber open house – CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness
Osage City’s CrossWinds had a successful open house Sept. 17. The offices are located at 608 Holiday St.. Many people showed up to meet the team, tour the facility, and to show their support.
