The Kansas Department of Transportation was scheduled to start a mill and overlay project April 21, 2026, on U.S. Highway 75 in Osage County.
Work will cover a section of highway from south of Jordan Road and north approximately five miles to state Highway 68.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane in the active work zone and directed by a pilot car and flaggers. Drivers should plan for delays of up to 15 minutes.
Work will occur Monday through Friday during daylight hours, and is expected to be complete in mid-May. All project work and traffic changes are conditions permitting and subject to change.
APAC-Kansas Inc. Shears Division, of Hutchinson, Kan., is the prime contractor on the $1.4 million project.
KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions in Kansas, see KanDrive.gov or call 511.
