Melvern Jr. Highline June 4-H meeting

The Melvern Jr. Highline 4-H Club held its June meeting at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Lyndon Pool. President Gradey McNally called the meeting to order. Vice President Braelyn McNally then led members in the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge.
Secretary Bella Reeser called the roll and invited members and parents to share their favorite ice cream. Five members and three adults attended. Bella read the minutes from the previous meeting, which were approved as read. No correspondence was reported.
Treasurer Braelyn McNally presented the treasurer’s report, which was approved. Bella shared that she had submitted two articles to the newspaper. There was no historian’s report. There was no council report. In leader’s report, leader Lisa Reeser reminded members the MJH 4-H will be walking with the American Legion during the Melvern Sunflower Days parade on Saturday, June 20. Please meet at the school at 6:30 p.m. There was no unfinished business. There was no new business.
For the program, Braelyn and Bella shared a video they created of their recent trip to Washington, D.C., with the 4-H Frontier District’s Citizenship Washington Focus group. For songs, the club sang “Happy Birthday” to members celebrating June birthdays.
At 4:17 p.m., a motion to adjourn was made and seconded. The next club meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Melvern Community Center.
For recreation, members swam at the Lyndon Pool, and the Reeser family provided snacks.

Melvern Jr. Highline May 4-H meeting

The Melvern Jr. Highline 4-H Club held its May meeting at 9 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, at Melvern Cemetery. President Gradey McNally called the meeting to order. Vice President Braelyn McNally then led members in the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge.
Secretary Bella Reeser called the roll and invited members and parents to share their favorite summer activity. Six members and four adults attended. Bella read the minutes from the previous meeting, which were approved as read. No correspondence was reported.
Treasurer Braelyn McNally presented the treasurer’s report, which was approved. Reporter Bella Reeser shared that she had submitted one article to the newspaper. There was no historian’s report, council report, or leader’s report. There was no unfinished business.
Under new business, a motion was made and seconded to give $50 to both Braelyn and Bella for their CWF trip from June 2-6. Another motion was made and seconded to participate in the Melvern Sunflower Days parade with the American Legion. During the program, club members placed flags on veterans’ graves. For songs, the club sang “Happy Birthday” to members celebrating May birthdays.
