Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Osage City Aquatic Center, swim teams from Osage City, Lyndon, Burlington, and Overbrook gathered for the league swim meet. In the midst of the friendly competition, the spotlight shone brightest during a heartfelt moment for Lyndon Swim Team’s own Paige Gebhardt, the league’s only senior this year.
Paige’s journey with the Lyndon Swim Team began back in 2016, and over the years she’s become so much more than just a competitor. Whether she was encouraging a nervous first-year swimmer, teaching little ones how to float, or stepping up to help as an assistant manager and coach, Paige has been a caring mentor and a friendly face for everyone at the pool.
As Paige prepares to begin her next chapter at Kansas State University this fall, the Lyndon Swim Team and the entire league wish her the very best for a bright future ahead.
