Ceramics run scheduled for next Tuesday

Submitted by Osage County Senior Center Director Byron Jordan

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the  general public transportation bus is making a special trip to the Topeka area for ceramics shopping. This gives folks who need ceramics supplies, or those who are thinking about getting into ceramics, a chance to purchase special items or green ware that they can work on in the Osage County Senior Center ceramics room.

Anyone interested in this trip should call 785-528-4906 no later than Monday at noon.

The November newsletter is out and it should be noted that the senior center is closed for all activities and bus service on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11. However, the nutrition site is open for meal service at 12 noon.

The senior center and nutrition site will be closed Nov. 28 and 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
