Everyone invited to Park Place’s open house to see apartment and lounge renovations

Members of the Osage City Area Chamber of Commerce along with staff, residents and guests of Park Place Apartments celebrated recent renovations at the facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 30.

Park Place Apartments, Osage City, recently celebrated its newly remodeled lounge and plans for other renovations with a ribbon cutting ceremony in cooperation with the Osage City Area Chamber of Commerce. Two upcoming open houses are also planned to show the facility to the public.

According to property manager Kaye Dayhoff, the building’s lounge was recently remodeled along with one apartment.  Other apartments in the building, which was constructed in 1976, will be remodeled as they become unoccupied, Dayhoff said.

Park Place Apartments, located at Sixth and Main streets, feature a secured entry, indoor community space, patio and garden area with seating and a barbecue grill, along with many planned monthly activities for residents and their guests to enjoy.

As part of celebrating the remodeling plans, two open houses are planned to showcase the renovations and the senior and disabled housing facility. The first open house will be 2-4 p.m. this Sunday, Nov. 10. Another open house will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, during Osage City’s Christmas opener festivities.

Everyone is invited to tour the remodeled lounge and a first-floor apartment that have undergone renovations. Sunday, gifts will be given to the first 30 guests at the open house.  For more information about the open houses, the apartments, or current availability of apartments, contact Dayhoff at 785-528-4835. The apartments are managed by nLee Management & Consulting LLC, which has an office in Wathena, Kan.
