Eisenhower State Park hosts open house

Eisenhower State Park is inviting everyone to an open house 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 9, in conjunction with a statewide free entrance day at all state parks.

The park will celebrate the upcoming camping and recreational season with a variety of activities, including a 5k run/walk sponsored by the Osage City Warmth Fund, which starts at 9 a.m., tours of the cabins, and hot dogs and refreshments.

To get to the park from U.S. Highway 75, turn west on state Highway 278, go three miles and turn south. Entrance to the park is free for everyone during the open house.
