Osage County buses provide economical, convenient transportation

Submitted by Osage County Senior Center Director Byron Jordan

As the winter cold settles in, the general public transportation buses keep on running to Topeka, Emporia and around Osage County. Severe weather could interrupt our schedule if ice or significant snow is involved. Otherwise we hope you will consider calling us for your transit needs. These bus rides are very economical and convenient, and you won’t need to scrape windows and use up your gas to warm the vehicle up.

To provide all our patrons plenty of notice, the Osage County Senior Center holiday closure schedule is as follows: Dec. 24, closed; Dec. 25, closed; Dec. 31, closing at 1 p.m., or immediately following noon meal service; and, Jan. 1, 2014, closed.

For more information, stop by the center at 604 Market St., Osage City, or call 785-528-4906.
