Chamber donates warmth and Christmas cheer

The Osage City Area Chamber of Commerce donated funds raised during Christmas on Market Street to three Osage City-based community service organizations at the Dec. 17 regular Chamber meeting. Checks for $928.65 each were given to the Ecumenical Christian Action Team (ECAT), East Central Kansas Economic Opportunity Corporation (ECKAN), and Osage City Warmth Fund. Presenting and receiving the checks were, back, from left Jim Lohmeyer, Chamber vice president, Wilma Booth, president, Ashley Hards, treasurer, Josie Bosse, Chamber director, with daughter Kaiden, and Byron Jordan, secretary; front, Kenna Burns, Osage County ECKAN director, and Carmen Chavez, ECAT and Warmth Fund volunteer.
