Free workshop for business startups scheduled at Melvern cafe

If you are thinking of starting a small business, a business startup workshop offered by the Kansas Small Business Development Center is a great place to begin.

This workshop, scheduled for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 19 at Whistle Stop Café, 117 SW Main in Melvern, offers essential information about marketing, management and money. Attendees will also learn how to assess the feasibility of their ideas and how to start writing a business plan. Information is also available on obtaining free assistance from KSBDC.
