Eric Allen Stinebaugh, 37, Melvern: Dec. 13, 1976 – Dec. 31, 2013

MELVERN – Eric Allen Stinebaugh, 37, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, near Osage City, Kan. He was born on Dec. 13, 1976, in Ottawa, Kan., the son of Roger and Debbie Allen Stinebaugh.

Eric had lived most of his life around the Melvern community.

He graduated in 1995 from Marais des Cygnes Valley High School, where he played football and was active in 4-H and FFA. He worked as a truck driver and did millwright work for Mid-States Materials.

He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Debbie Eissler, of Melvern; a son, Dawson Stinebaugh, Spring Hill, Kan.; three brothers, Nathan Stinebaugh, Carbondale, Kit Stinebaugh, Lecompton, and Jeremy Eissler, Los Angeles, Calif.; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Allen, Warsaw, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at the Feltner Funeral Home, Lyndon.  Burial will be at the Central Cemetery, south of Pomona, Kan. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eric Stinebaugh Memorial Fund and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
