Diana Lynn Foiles, 52, Lyndon: July 3, 1961 – Jan. 5, 2014

LYNDON – Diana Lynn Foiles, 52, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at her home in Lyndon, Kan. She was born on July 3, 1961, in Sedan, Kan., the daughter of Albert and Grace Bennit Miller Sr.

Diana grew up in Grenola and had lived in Emporia and Winfield before moving to Lyndon in 2001.

She graduated from Central Burden High School in 1979 and attended Southwestern College at Winfield and Labette Community College. She was a zone manager at the Walmart store in Ottawa. She was a member of the Lyndon United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, and helped with the Methodist Youth Group.

On August 10, 1985, Diana married Gary Foiles, in Grenola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Kenny Miller, and a sister, Paula Miller.

Diana is survived by her son, Alex Foiles, of Manhattan; her daughter, Grace Foiles, Lyndon; Gary Foiles, Lyndon; two brothers, Donnie Miller and Bobby Miller, both of Grenola; and her stepmother, Pansy Ollenborger, Grenola.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, at the Lyndon United Methodist Church, where the family will receive friends from noon until service time. A service will then be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Grenola Christian Church. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Lyndon Methodist Youth Group and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
