Remember to ‘spring ahead’ for daylight saving time

It’s time to spring ahead for daylight saving time. The change starts 2 a.m. Sunday, although most people set their clocks an hour ahead before going to bed Saturday night.

Everyone is also advised to use the time change as a reminder to put new batteries in smoke detectors and weather radios.

Daylight saving time ends Nov. 3.
