Burlingame wishes Kansas a Happy Birthday!

Burlingame Schuyler Museum will again be celebrating Kansas Day, Jan. 29, with presentations portraying how things were done in the past.

Presentations will include Vita Tucker with an archeology trunk; Carol Grandstaff with hats or rag dolls: Gary Buek shelling corn with a crank corn sheller; and Donna Bartee washing clothes on a wash board. Docents dress in period dress during the presentations.

All presentations will be ongoing during the day, with activities beginning at 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and then 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The public is invited to attend. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.

The Burlingame Schuyler Museum is located at 117 S. Dacotah St., Burlingame.
