Car crashes into Casey’s, Osage City

An elderly man drove his Buick LaSabre halfway into the Casey’s General Store at Osage City about 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Osage City Police said the man reported that his foot slipped off of the brake pedal and hit the accelerator, causing him to crash into the store. Police said no one was injured in the crash, including the driver, and no one was near the wall inside the store when the crash happened. The store was reopened later in the afternoon with temporary repairs. See photos below:
