Quick Super Bowl supper – spicy wings and shrimp

Spicy Chicken Wings:

020214-potter-super-bowl3 pounds of frozen chicken wings along with an envelope of Williams Spicy Wings seasoned coating mix. Just follow the directions. Coat them with Ott’s wing sauce. Serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks

Shrimp:

I used raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, and a pack of McCormick Grill Mates Mojito Lime marinade.

Warm Potato Salad:

Boil 2 pounds of cubed new potatoes.  In a separate pan, fry up 5 strips of bacon until crisp. Then add 1 medium red onion, diced, until tender. Add 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard and 1/4 cup white vinegar. Add the cooked potatoes and stir gently so as not to break up the potatoes.

Colorful corn rounds out the dish along with celery and blue cheese dip.

Makes a fantastic meal, with all ingredients purchased at Jerry’s Thriftway, Osage City, Kan.

Enjoy!  Mandi Potter
