Bingo lovers invited to play Valentine’s Day games

With Valentine’s Day falling on our bingo games day at the Osage County Senior Center, we are going to have some special prizes that can be won during the games and by the raffle that will be held that day. Bingo starts at 10 a.m.

There are plenty of seats left on our meal and movie trip to Topeka on Feb. 27. The bus will leave at 10:30 a.m. for the lunch stop at Banjo’s Café and then on to Topeka’s multiplex theater for a variety of movie options. A $3 donation is requested for transit upon boarding the bus.

Lunch tickets on sale at the senior center for the Feb. 22  Arvonia Bare Bones House Tour must be purchased by the end of business Friday, Feb. 14. Tickets for the tour only are available at the center until Feb. 21.

  • Thursday, Feb. 13 – Biscuits & Gravy Extravaganza 9 a.m.; art and painting class 9 a.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 14 – Valentine’s special bingo 10 a.m.; cribbage 12:15 p.m.
  • Monday, Feb. 17 – Senior center and nutrition site closed for President’s Day.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 18 – Senior commodities distribution 8-11:30 a.m., 1-4 p.m.; ceramics 9 a.m.; Mexican Train games 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 19 – Sewing 8 a.m.; armchair exercise 10:30 a.m.; birthday lunch 12 noon; cribbage 12:15 p.m.
  • Thursday, Feb. 20 – Art and painting class 9 a.m.
