Annual senior resource fair scheduled for April

By Osage County Senior Center Director Byron Jordan

Despite the departure of Wilma Booth from PRN Home-Health-Hospice, there will still be a senior resource fair at the senior center this year. (Booth was the former coordinator of the event.) Susan McDonald, of the Osage County Health Department, will be coordinating this event, set for April 24. This will be the eighth annual resource fair, and we depend on our patrons and other attendees as well as the vendors for it to be a success. So, please, make a note on your calendar and plan to be here.

There are still seats left on our meal and movie trip to Topeka on Feb. 27. And, those who bought Feb. 22 Arvonia Bare Bones House Tour tickets and want to ride the bus should be at the senior center around 11 a.m. for the trip to Lebo for lunch, followed by the tour.
