Scranton man sentenced to prison for attempted auto theft

LYNDON – James D. Cobuluis Jr., 35, Scranton,  Kan., was sentenced to 12 months in custody of the Kansas Department of Corrections today by Osage County District Court Judge Phillip M Fromme, after being convicted in January of attempted felony theft of an automobile from Scranton.

Cobuluis has been in Osage County Jail since his arrest on Oct. 2, 2013, but will now be transferred to the Kansas Department of Corrections to finish his 12-month prison sentence.
