Possible stabbing victim in Osage City transported to hospital with injuries

The Osage City Police Department has issued a press release reporting that 58-year-old man was possibly stabbed early this morning, and has been transported by helicopter to KU Medical Center, in Kansas City, Mo.

The release said Osage County dispatch received a call of a possible stabbing in the 300 block of south Ninth Street, in Osage City. The Osage City Police Department responded to the call and found an injured white male, who was transported by helicopter ambulance.

The incident remained under investigation this afternoon, with Osage City Police, Osage County Sheriff, and Kansas Bureau of Investigation officers on the scene.
