Two sentenced after probation violations

Nikki L. Schmitz, 35, Emporia, was sentenced April 21 in Osage County District Court to serve an 11-month prison sentence in the custody of the Kansas Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked for failure to comply. She was originally convicted of possession of methamphetamine in July 2013, for an incident that occurred in February 2013.

Also sentenced Monday was Caleb Wessel, 21, Burlingame, who will serve a 12-month prison sentence after his probation was revoked for several violations. He was convicted in March 2011, of non-residential burglary, and driving under the influence in February 2012.
