This is the last call for our special general public transportation bus trip to Wamego for the Kansas Sampler Festival on Saturday, May 3. This really is a big event, featuring products manufactured or grown only in Kansas. Besides the displays there are historical re-enactments, entertainment, fun games for all ages, and a variety of food tasting opportunities. Contact the senior center at 604 Market St., Osage City, or 785-528-4906, by Friday, May 2, for more information or to reserve a seat on the bus.
The signup sheet is also out for our May 22 evening supper trip to Luigi’s Italian Restaurant, in Ottawa. The bus will leave at 5:30 p.m.; a $3 transit donation is requested.
