Rent, utility assistance available

Rental and utilities assistance is available for eligible individuals through Catholic Charities.

A Catholic Charities representative will be at ECKAN, 530 Holliday St., Osage City, on Monday, May 5, to offer assistance. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are assisted first come, first serve. 

For rental assistance, the applicant must provide an eviction notice or late notice and a copy of the lease. For utility assistance, a past due bill, shut off notice or disconnect notice is required. Applicants must provide verification of income for the last 30 days, and a driver’s license or state ID, and must not have received help from Catholic Charities in the past 12 months.
